Data we collect
We only collect the data you send us through the contact form, by email or by phone:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your phone number, if you provide it;
- the content of your message.
Like any website, our host also records technical connection data (IP address, date and time, pages viewed) for security and operational purposes.
Why we use it
This data is used to:
- respond to your enquiry or request for a quote;
- follow up on our exchanges and our services.
We do not use it for advertising purposes and we do not sell it.
Who has access to it
Your data is intended only for the people at Gidesol in charge of handling your request.
It passes through technical service providers acting on our behalf:
- Netlify, for hosting the website;
- FormSubmit, for delivering messages from the contact form;
- our email service provider;
- Google Fonts, for displaying typefaces (your IP address is sent to Google when pages load).
Some of these providers are established outside Cameroon.
Retention period
Your messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request, then for no more than three years after our last exchange, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Cookies
This website uses no advertising cookies and no audience measurement tools.
Your rights
In accordance with Cameroon's Law No. 2024/017 of 23 December 2024 on the protection of personal data, you have the right to access, rectify, erase and object to the processing of data concerning you. If you live in the European Union, you also benefit from the rights provided by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
To exercise these rights, write to us at contact@gidesol.com. We will reply as soon as possible. You may also refer the matter to the competent data protection authority.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access or disclosure. The website is accessible over a secure connection (HTTPS).
